Dean’s Award for Academic Excellence Scholarships at University of Bath

The University of Bath in the United Kingdom is making available the Dean’s Award for Academic Excellence Scholarship. 

This financial aid is for fresh master's degree student (full-time to be specific).

This scholarship is granted based on academic merit and nothing more. As a result of this, interested applicants are advised to include all tangible academic achievements obtained during their previous education.

This is a self-hosted scholarship. This means that the sponsor is also the host. The host university is University of Bath located in Claverton Down, Bath BA2 7AY, UK.

Eligible Courses

Not all the courses offered by the University of Bath is covered by this scholarship. However, all the courses under the faculties are eligible:

• The faculty of Science.
• The faculty of Social Sciences, Humanities.
• The faculty of Engineering and design.

All students from all countries are eligible for this scholarship. (Including interested applicants from EU and UK).

Scholarship value and added benefits

The information below should be taken note of, for it makes known the prize money and how it would be disbursed:

• There would be prize money for 24 selected applicants in total.
• Each faculty has 8 slots each.
• Each of the 8 students in the 3 faculties will be awarded a financial aid of £5,000.
• This won't be given to the student in cash, but as a fee discount (fee waiver).
• The prize money is valid only for one year. This means that students whose coursework is more than 12 months will not be considered again starting from the 13th month.

Criteria For Consideration

For an applicant to be considered eligible, he/she must have been offered admission for a full time master's degree program in the University of Bath.

Also, applicant must be a fresh student who commence studies in the upcoming academic session. 

Application procedure

Interested applicants have to fill the scholarship application form through the application tracker. About 3 to 5 questions will have to be answered. This should be filled with accuracy as it is a vital part of the scholarship application process.

Closing date

The deadline for the Dean’s Award for Academic Excellence Scholarships at University of Bath is 16th July 2021. The academic session is to commence in September 2021.
