The University of Pretoria (UP) located in South Africa has partnered together with the Mastercard Scholarships Foundation. 

The Mastercard Foundation Scholars Program (MCFSP) is a global financial aid board aiming at improving Africa, by assisting academically successful students that are in dire need of financial aid. These students possess incredible potentiasl to improve Africa by making good use of their knowledge, values and talents.

Their union has brought forth a good deed, mostly beneficial to all African students. A scholarship board has been setup for African Students who have proved successful in their respective academics, and are ready to commence a postgraduate coursework program.

The MasterCard Foundation Scholars Program (MCFSP) has made available fully funded scholarships to African students that have secured an admission into the University of Pretoria to study a postgraduate coursework. 

To benefit from this University of Pretoria MasterCard Scholarship 2022, interested applicants will have to apply for a course covered by the Mastercard Foundation Scholarship 2022.

Below are the courses covered by the Mastercard Foundation Scholarship 2020 University of Pretoria:

• Faculty of Natural and Agricultural Sciences
• Faculty of Economic and Management Sciences
• Faculty of Humanities for Political Studies or International Studies only
• Faculty of Engineering

Kindly note that only courses under the faculties below are covered by this scholarship. Already-existing African students are also eligible to apply. 

Eligibility and application process

• All applicants must be Africans.
• Interested applicants should first apply for admission, after which they apply for the scholarship.
• Applicants should have secured admission to study a postgraduate coursework (full-time) at the University of Pretoria.
• The students number will be used to fill the MCFSP application. Academic records and other relevant documents should be attached. 
• Applicants should be ready to go back to their home country and be of help after completing their studies.
